El Refugio empowers all persons affected by domestic and sexual violence by providing advocacy, education and services in a safe and supportive environment.
 
 

Our Vision

El Refugio is a place where all people may come to learn to create positive relationships, regain dignity, become self-determinate and sustain well-being.

 

Our Funding

With Non-profit status our support comes from a variety of sources, including individual, private, New Mexico state funds, Grant County and Town of Silver City funds.
We are grateful and thank our many friends and supporters.

El Refugio, Inc’s Board of Directors is accepting applications for the appointment of 1 member to it’s board. Applicants must share an interest in El Refugio, Inc’s. mission: to empower all persons affected by domestic and sexual violence by providing advocacy, education and services in a safe an supportive environment. The terms of service is 2 years.
